River Run Plantation currently uses CAMS for our management services but they are expensive and we have not been really happy with some of their services. They are slow to answer questions in regards to accounting, reconciliations, etc. We would like to hear from other ABCPOA members as to the companies they use for management services and their thoughts on their services.

Devaun Park previously used FSR and that contract expired and was not renewed by mutual consent.  We currently use Priestley Management.  I cannot speak for the Board but as a resident, I am satisfied with the work they are doing especially as regards to communicating with the residents.

Approximately 4 years ago Sandpiper Bay terminated our contract with CAMS and engaged Premier Management Company.  To the best of my knowledge the board was unhappy with the services of CAMS for much the same reasons that you mentioned.

St. James has used Community Association Services (CAS) for many years. About two years ago, CAS was acquired by a firm from Sweden called Odevo. Odevo has aggressively acquired numerous community association management companies as their business model, including others in NC. Since then, personnel changes and staffing have led to some unsatisfactory service functions. We are still working with them with the expectation that the kinks have to be ironed out.
